Northstrat is seeking a Operations Engineer to collaborate with the customer, subcontractors, local engineers, and geographically dispersed teammates and customers to ensure GEOINT Visualization Services systems operate well according to contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. The successful candidate for this position must have training (BS) in a science or technology related discipline, multiple years of experience in performing system maintenance, including security scans and software patching. Although project requirements may dictate schedules, a Northstrat employee is only required to work an average of 8 hours per weekday over the course of a month.
