We are seeking a Senior Warehouse Management System (WMS) Software Engineer with hands-on Manhattan experience to support a Fortune 50 organization. In this role, you’ll configure, customize, and integrate Manhattan WMS to optimize distribution center workflows. Work with one of the largest retail supply chains in North America in a high-visibility role impacting both store replenishment and e-commerce fulfillment. This is a W2 contract engagement paying $70/hr (+ benefits, see below). There is potential for long-term growth and additional opportunities, based on performance and business needs. What You’ll Do Configure and customize Manhattan WMS for inbound, outbound, and inventory workflows. Develop enhancements using Java, SQL/PL-SQL, Unix scripting, and XML. Design and support integrations between WMS and enterprise systems (ERP, TMS, OMS) using MIF, APIs, or middleware. Troubleshoot production issues, monitor performance, and analyze database queries. Partner with distribution operations teams to refine processes (picking, replenishment, shipping, etc.). Support DC go-lives, system rollouts, and potential upgrades (WMOS → Manhattan Active). Requirements Proven Manhattan WMS experience (WMOS and/or Manhattan Active). Strong technical skills in Java, SQL/PL-SQL, Unix scripting, XML. Deep understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain flows. Experience integrating WMS with enterprise systems. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
