About the Role We're building the clean data layer for everyone, starting with financial firms. Our platform leverages AI and expert human review to solve data cleaning, delivering accurate, clean data in just a few lines of code. As a Founding Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our core product and company direction. We're a small, fast-moving team that values competence, a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and kindness. What You'll Do Design, build, and scale our core data extraction, retrieval, and validation systems. Work full-stack, from the backend and data pipelines to the user interfaces, to deliver production-ready features. Architect and optimize AI-powered workflows for speed, accuracy, and reliability. Experiment with and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) to solve real-world data challenges. Collaborate closely with the founder and early team to shape product strategy and technical direction. Requirements What We're Looking For 2+ years of full-time experience in full-stack, backend, or infrastructure engineering. A mix of high competence, work ethic, and eagerness to learn. Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to work across different layers of the tech stack. Experience in Python and a willingness to learn TypeScript quickly. Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to take ownership from idea to a shipped product. Benefits Salary: $150k - $250k. Ensure that Caution/Safety signs are properly set up prior to performing duties and safely returns area to its normal condition when finished. Clean walls, ceilings, hallways, stairways, and sidewalks as instructed using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions. Dispose of all trash into proper containers and relines trash receptacle with plastic liners. Report all defective equipment and malfunctions to supervisor as soon as possible. Receive, sort, and wash linen/laundry following schedule and instructions from supervisor and as outlined in established procedures.
