And it doesn’t stop there… Key Responsibilities Perform expert silk blowouts on all types of textured hair, ensuring flawless results and client satisfaction. Educate clients on the art of textured hair care, maintenance techniques, and recommended products to promote hair health. Sell add-on services, retail products, and VIP memberships by confidently recommending solutions tailored to each client’s needs. Provide a luxury client experience through professional and engaging interactions, enhancing their visit with top-tier service, including complimentary mimosas and beverages. Maintain overall studio cleanliness and organization to uphold Pressed Roots’ high standards of professionalism and hospitality. Requirements Active and valid Texas cosmetology license required. Exceptional customer service and communication skills to create a welcoming and luxury experience for clients. Strong styling and finishing techniques, with a focus on silk blowouts and textured hair care. Highly motivated, team-oriented, and proactive, with a strong work ethic and a “go-getter” attitude. Experience with the round brush technique is a plus but not required. Availability for a committed weekday PM shift and a weekend shift is required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 9 hours) while performing hair services. Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions, including holding and manipulating blow dryers, round brushes, flat irons, and scissors. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 15 pounds, such as styling tools and product inventory. Ability to reach overhead for styling, cleaning tasks, and retrieving necessary supplies. Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel to access styling tools, assist clients, and maintain overall studio cleanliness. Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
