Collaborate with a team of technicians and engineers in the field for testing and data collection. Gather field measurements and accurately prepare field notes along with other documentation. Execute tasks promptly and professionally in compliance with VCS and industry safety standards. Adhere to VCS’ Quality Management Process. Maintain a clean and organized workshop by ensuring that tools are arranged neatly, cleaned, and kept in good condition. Assist contractors with the technical elements of installing cathodic protection systems. Provide support to Senior Project Engineers and Project Managers on various technical issues. Work as a part of a team, communicating effectively and in a timely manner. Support the Development and Execution of the VCS Service Offering: Conduct quality control testing and inspections of cathodic protection systems. Oversee structural health monitoring installations. Effectively operate various nondestructive testing equipment. Engage in research and development, as team members at VCS are encouraged to contribute to the advancement of techniques or equipment. Requirements Travel is an important aspect of our work. Travel is to be expected between 60%-80% of the time within the US.
