What You Will Do The Clinic Nurse Manager is responsible for managing, directing, and supervising clinic staff in the daily operations for adult and pediatric services in the outpatient setting. The Opportunity · Coordinates services to maintain continuity of patient care and workflow efficiencies. · Provides guidance, motivation and direction of assigned staff, participation with orientation, continuing education to meet expected competency skill levels, performance standards expectations, monitoring and conducting performance reviews. · Ensures staff maintain accurate recording and tracking of essential clinical functions, i.e. Nursing QA/QI, EMR documentation, correspondence, incident reports, consents, orders/referrals, etc.) · Collaborates with other management team leaders to assure positive patient experience or service recovery as needed, efficient clinical workflows, collaborate with billing/coding related to daily clinic visits, new product licensure and ongoing patient issues. · Collaborates with the Director of Clinical Services on operational issues such as committee involvement, project management functions, policy and procedure, budget, resource management, communications, and QA/QI/PI planning, implementation and outcome evaluation. · Partner with the Director of Clinical Services to develop and achieve Center Goals that reflect our Mission and Values. · Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Clinical Ladder and IHI goals as assigned. Requirements Recent knowledge and experience in a direction patient care setting with 5 years of progressive clinical management experience GED or High School diploma required BSN required Valid driver's license and automobile insurance is required. Occasional travel is a requirement of this role. All IHI employees are expected to enable multi-factor authentication via their personal smart phone/smart device in order to access IHI systems as a requirement of the role. This position is open to residents of the State of Indiana, and requires routine presence at our Center in Indianapolis, IN. Frequency of on-site presence is dependent upon role and department needs.
