Harlem Children’s Zone (HCZ) — a world-renowned education and poverty-fighting organization based in New York — seeks an enthusiastic, dedicated, and mission aligned Safety Officer with the Safety Department. The Safety Officer will bring a passion for the mission of Harlem Children’s Zone: break the cycle of intergenerational poverty with comprehensive, on-the-ground programming that builds up opportunities for children and families to thrive in school, work, and life. Ability to work outdoors and use equipment such as boats, all-terrain vehicles, trucks and other assigned equipment or vehicles. Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs. Must be able to wear all personal protection equipment needed in various weather conditions. Restrictions: A valid, clean driver’s license for the operations of various motor vehicles and equipment.
