We at Mescal Canyon Retreat Bed and Breakfast are seeking a Live-In Care Taking Couple to help on our rural property in beautiful North Central Arizona. We have developed this property over the past 42 years and are seeking assistance with the care taking, property maintenance/landscaping and the bed & breakfast. 22-Acre High Desert Property, adjacent to National Forest, includes: the Owners’ Main House, a 1-Bedroom Casita, Two (2) Bed and Breakfast Rooms (in separate Stone Building), a Communal B&B Building (The Canyon Studio), Architect’s Office, Workshop/ Dance/Yoga Studio, Outdoor Patios/Courtyards, Large Organic Garden/Compost/Chickens, Small Vineyard, Native & Xeric Landscaping, Hot Tub Terrace and Small above ground Pool Area. The entire property is “off the grid” including excellent WiFi connections with Star Link. All buildings are Passive Solar. Living Quarters for Caretaker(s) include a 950 s.f., 2 story, 1-Bedroom with a Study, Passive Solar Stone Casita, for which Owners would like to trade rent ($950/month) for property maintenance, gardening, work in the small vineyard and help with the Bed and Breakfast. Additional salary is offered for ongoing work projects. Caretaker(s) must be environmentally conscious, organized, neat, energetic, team players, have a flexible schedule and understand sustainability. MUST have experience in Organic Gardening, Landscaping and Building Maintenance as well as housekeeping and help with B and B Guests are all required (including occasional cooking for Guests, all food is vegetarian).
