The Labor Compliance Specialist will provide compliance support as it pertains to various aspects of projects; from start up, to prevailing wage, and specific labor compliance. Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities: Job Start Up  Participate in any pre-construction meetings and/or project check-in meetings.   Review new projects for compliance and certified payroll information.  Inform HR and payroll teams of new projects and any labor compliance items that need to be reviewed.   Complete, submit, and file all compliance documents (DAS140/142, Fringe Benefit Statements, etc.) required by the project along with Royal job policy documents (work classifications, travel policies)  Prevailing Wage  Verify and audit wage rates, fringe benefits, phase codes, and labor performed on projects to ensure all classified “certified time” is included in certified payroll reports and employees are paid the correct wage based on current prevailing wage rates and union agreements.   Initiate corrective action if reports are non-compliant.  Keep prevailing wage determination current in job folders.   Update BID and CO spreadsheets when new determinations are published.   Supervise weekly submission of Royal’s certified payroll reports for each prevailing wage project.  Monitor apprentice ratio, skilled and trained, and local hire compliance and report out on any non-compliance with the field supervision and workforce team.  Submit reporting to customers as required that relate to ratios, skilled and trained, and local hiring.  Subcontractor Compliance   Ensure all subcontractors are provided project compliance requirements and are submitting timely and correct certified payrolls and compliance documents.  Advise accounting department of subcontractor compliance status.   Provide Royal customers with subcontractor payroll reports and documents in a timely manner.  Misc.
