Location: Arlington, VA Category: Aviation Schedule (FT/PT): FT Travel Required: NA    Shift: Day Remote Type: On-Site Clearance required: Secret Division: Aviation Description:  This position provides software engineering and systems engineering expertise to support the F-35 Mission Planning Enterprise (MPE). The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) delivers F-35 capabilities and support through several Program Management Offices (PMOs). The F-35 Combat Data Systems (CDS) PMO delivers the infrastructure, tools, and labs that produce mission data for the F 35 Air System, while overseeing lifecycle cost, schedule, and performance. The F-35 CDS PMO is responsible for the F-35 MPE and the F-35 Joint Reprogramming Enterprise (JRE). The MPE is a comprehensive tool suite (software and hardware) designed to deliver the required capabilities to support F-35 Mission Planning. The MPE integrates JRE products and other sources to orchestrate the data required for combat operations including Air Tasking Orders; aircraft capabilities; threats; targets; terrain; weather; jamming; deception; countermeasures; communications; sensors; weapons; employment tactics; navigation; routes; and asset coordination. Based on where MPE team is in their development process, developing requirements and reviewing/developing high-level system design documents will be a big part. Primary Responsibilities: Analyze F-35 user needs and assess software solutions against requirements Provide Systems Engineering coordination to support MPE leadership in preparation for key leadership forums, including the Future Capabilities and Technologies governance process, and technical reviews Provide Systems Engineering Support for System Requirements Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings, trade studies for Block 4, Air System Alignment, and F-35 Director of Engineering tasks; representing MPE equities, identifying gaps, recommending fixes to ensure an effective MPE system that integrates effectively with the F-35 Air Vehicle (AV) Support F-35 developmental engineering by engaging with F-35 contractors and providing feedback, critique, analysis for work products, system implementation Concept of Operations, and Systems Engineering Technical events including System Requirements Reviews, Design Reviews, Functional Configuration Audits, and Physical Configurations Audits. These efforts support the MPE focus of fielding next generation mission planning equipment and implementing global network solutions Evaluate the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) development artifacts including variance, Required Work Packages, Software (SW) specifications, metrics, architecture models, schedules, and CDRLs to evaluate technical maturity Track certification and accreditation for each Mission Planning Software Environment SW build, coordinating with the F-35 JPO Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), certifiers, third-party contractors, and external customers Provide integration and interoperability support to systems, units, or forces to accept and receive services to enable them to operate effectively together Evaluate releasability of MPE SW documentation, including programmatic technical instructions such as Delegation of Disclosure Authority Letters (DDL), Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA), and Security Classification Guides (SCG) in coordination with F-35 JPO stakeholders as part of data package releases in support of Authority to Operate (ATO), Authority to Connect (ATC), and Interim Authority to Test (IATT). Requirements BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering required SECRET clearance with eligibility for SAR At least 6 years of software and systems engineering experience in DoD programs Experience in systems architecture design and evaluation Network design and implementation (experience designing, configuring, and deploying networks) Experience in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Network security principles Understanding of System engineering process (SETR Events, required documentation, test events) Experience with EW/RF, mission planning applications (JMPS), F-35 sensors and/or weapons would be a big plus but not required. Music Director for Middle School Theater Production 2025-2026
St. Luke’s School, a secular (non-religious), college-preparatory day school serving grades 5 through 12 in New Canaan, Connecticut, seeks a talented Music Director to work in collaboration with the Director of our Middle School Musical. The musical this year is Frozen, Jr. The show will be staged in the Seldin Performing Arts Center, our state-of-the-art, 480-seat proscenium theater with full sound and light capability and with the support of a robust technical crew composed of faculty, staff, and students. The Middle School show includes students in grades 5-8. The title has not yet been selected; and will use playback tracks (not a live pit orchestra).
