eIRB #18483 **Note: We are only recruiting participants who are CURRENTLY 21-40 years old. If you are older than 40, please do not apply** We are conducting a study on neural activity following substance use. To participate, you must be right-handed, have used cigarettes and/or used e-cigarettes (e.g., a Juul or other nicotine vape) on a nondaily basis in the past month, and have no metal in your body. Evening / weekend scheduling and assistance with transportation are available. If eligible based on a 20 minute pre-screening and 1 hour interview, participation will include two 5-6 hour visits to the lab, and 2 follow-up phone interviews. You may earn up to $400 for full completion of all study components. Each visit will involve: • Tests and questionnaires to measure thinking abilities and decision making • An MRI at the OHSU Advanced Imaging Research Center • Before each MRI scan, you will consume a legal, non-prescription substance at a dosage proven safe for human consumption.
