About the Role: We are seeking a CNC Mill-Lathe Machinist to join our 2nd shift team. Responsible for the setup, Mazatrol programing, operating, and inspection of the final product, ensuring it is free from defects and ready for the next production stage. Responsibilities include: Day to day operation of CNC milling and Lathe machines following work lists, shop routers or direction from immediate supervisor while maintaining work schedule with a goal of improving safety and/or production. Operator is responsible for all set up, programming. Basic programming knowledge of machine being hired for (Mazak or Okuma). Write programs for basic parts. Set-up tooling prior to running part and recognize potential tool interference. Demonstrate the ability to learn back setup. Operate overhead cranes, clamping devices. Perform similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor. Maintain clean and safe work area. Complete tasks timely and efficiently in accordance with expectations as directed by supervisor. Able to operate tools including but not limited to, hand tools, manual machine tools, torch, drill press, etc. Ability to learn Eriez labor and work order collection system. Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered. Requirements High school diploma OR GED Skill or experience with Mazatrol programing Program, set up and operate horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers including the setting of all tooling and fixtures, proper feeds and speeds, using both carbide and high-speed steel tools. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and use Advanced mathematics and formulas. Use a variety of precision measuring instruments with proficiency. Experience in programming and operating, (acknowledged training preferred) using Mazatrol or conversational control systems to create programs from engineering drawings. CNC Machinist III - 2nd Shift

JOB SUMMARY This CNC Machinist will Operate machine tools to machine metallic and nonmetallic workpieces for the Medical and Aerospace Industry by performing the following duties below. This position is on 2nd Shift. Machines we operate: Mills: Kitamura, Mikron, Haas and Matsuura mills. 3-axis vertical, 4-axis horizontal, and 5-axis machines, many with multiple work pallets Manual Machines: Bridgeport style mills, engine lathes, and surface grinders ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Read and interpret process plans, blueprints, and part sketches to determine necessary machining, dimensional specifications, set up, and operating requirements. Ability to edit pre-written programs. Ability to edit and troubleshoot programs for process improvements. Observe numerical control displays on the control panel and compare with the data on the process plan to verify dimensional adjustments, feed rates, and speeds of machining cuts. Inspects first run pieces and spot checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications using operation certification knowledge. Utilizes various types of inspection instruments to check work per print. Completes necessary job-related paperwork to include tags, inspection documents, and production log. Perform basic equipment maintenance: proper coolant levels, filters, fan operation, cleans machine, etc. Use manual machines as needed to make work holding fixtures and other small quantity parts. Ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED. 5+ Years of Experience Ability to read and interpret GD&T blueprints Experience with precision measuring tools Manual and CNC machining experience Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Regularly required to stand and reach the duration of shift, 8-10 hours. Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend. Sometimes required to perform repetitive or short-cycles work. Regularly lift, push or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Job Title Mold Setter/Technician Location: 18 1/2 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, MI Job Type: Full-Time Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) Wage: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour, plus a $0.75 afternoon shift premium Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Technician to support production operations through mold changes, equipment maintenance, material handling, and process troubleshooting. This hands-on role plays a critical part in ensuring manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and operational safety in a fast-paced injection molding environment. Key Responsibilities Perform mold changes efficiently and document mold change times. Maintain and manage regrind material systems. Change materials as needed and clean oil and water from work areas. Assist with troubleshooting and adjustments on injection molding machines, including robotic and end-of-arm tooling. Support machine operators and provide coverage during breaks. Work with maintenance staff to assist in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs. Monitor and assess molding processes for quality and consistency. Maintain cleanliness of the plant and follow all safety and environmental procedures. Verify and complete Process Verification (PV) documentation as required.
