We are looking for a skilled and dedicated RV Service Technician to join our service team and ensure our customers' RVs are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. Hourly pay relative to level of work experience; available weekly production bonuses, add an additional 20% to total weeks pay. Dealership Location: 377 Capital Cir. SW, Tallahassee, FL 32304 Responsibilities: Service Technicians are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on a variety of recreational vehicles. The primary duties will include: Performing inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components. Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner. Conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) to ensure RVs meet quality and safety standards before delivery to customers. Documenting all work performed, including parts used and labor time, in the dealership's service management system. Communicating with service advisors and customers to provide detailed explanations of repairs and maintenance work. Keeping up-to-date with industry standards, manufacturer guidelines, and technical bulletins. Maintaining a clean and organized work area and ensuring tools and equipment are in good working condition. Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies. All other responsibilities as assigned. Willing to learn all aspects of RV repair including house repairs Current certification (RVIA/RVDA/RVTI) OR interest in completing online training courses for RVIA certification ***Paid on-the-job RVTI Technician Certification Training*** Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Strong knowledge of RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; RV experience preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. RVIA/RVDA certification or other relevant industry certifications (preferred) Experience with computerized diagnostic tools and software (preferred). We provide wheel refinishing, repainting and straightening services to our customers onsite. Our customers are dealerships in the DMV area. This job is for a FIXED Location and high volume. No driving around to various locations. The customer/job is located in Alexandria, VA. We supply all tools, equipment, gas reimbursement and vehicle. We are currently looking for experienced RV Technician(s). The ideal candidate will diagnose, inspect, adjust, repair, or overhaul recreational vehicles including travel trailers. May specialize in maintaining gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, or chassis/towing systems as well as repairing generators, appliances, and interior components. Duties: Examine, troubleshoot and diagnose units needing repair and maintenance. Do all repairs, and install parts, trailer must be 100% complete. Perform pre-delivery inspections, reading and writing repair orders. Troubleshoot, repair and conduct maintenance on propane gas and electric appliances. Repairs to fiberglass, body and structural components. Install, repair, replace and maintain roofs, siding, windows, doors, vents, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets, counters, plumbing systems, electrical systems, propane gas systems, batteries and charging systems. Use manuals, catalogues and internet websites to conduct repairs on parts or components. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualified candidate will have the following: Minimum of 1-year experience in the RV, automotive or carpentry industry with an emphasis on repairs and installations is desired. Hands on experience in construction/carpentry. Experience with hitch work and brake controls. Must be able to work outside or in an un-climate controlled environment. Good hand-eye coordination. Attention to detail. Electrical experience. Ability to understand and communicate information. Ability to read a tape measure and use various hand tools. Willing to work weekends as needed. Basic computer skills. Valid driver’s license with good driving record. High school diploma or equivalent.
