Description: Masterpiece Outdoorliving is looking for Lead Carpenters to help us and our team build high end steel frame decks, Roof extensions, Custom Outdoor Kitchens, Custom fire rails and fire pits and anything else the clients need. We are looking for: A can-do-attitude Someone that wants to make this a career and grow with our team A Professional that wants to work on high end projects Most importantly, a leader with great communication skills, able to read blueprints and give directions when workers need them. Responsibilities: Building and framing high end decks, patios, and outdoor living spaces Steel framing knowledge is a plus Ability to read blueprints Ability to run a crew Communicating with homeowners, project managers and subcontractors Qualifications: Previous experience in construction Need to have own tools Framing experience Familiarity with construction management software Strong leadership qualities Strong organizational skills Deadline and detail-oriented License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) **Must be willing to travel** Salary: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour - flexible based on experience and expertise Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: Multiple locations

Crews which you will be assigned to will be no more than 5 employees and will travel from job to job together as a crew. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Build and breakdown scaffolds, install ladders, walkways and handrails. Assist in the safe and efficient installation/removal of equipment in accordance with project specific plans and layouts. Inspecting all scaffold components prior to assembly. Clean and prepare construction sites, including removing debris and materials. Load and unload equipment and materials form truck and vehicles. Study plans and equipment lists prior to on-site installation. Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed; including wearing and use of safety equipment. Maintain fall protection requirements while erecting / dismantling scaffolds. Make sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift. Ensure full client satisfaction in relation to the quality of service and finished product within planned time schedules. Other duties as required. Requirements Background Check and Drug screening required. Valid driver's license preferred, with good driving record. Familiar with basic hand tools, drills, saws, hammers, etc. Cannot be afraid of heights. Creative problem solver with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work both independently and within a team setting to achieve company goals. Able to lift-up to 75Ibs. Candidate should be able read and understand basic safety instructions.
