Flooring Installer (Miami)

General Property Construction is seeking a skilled and dedicated Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in flooring installation and a strong understanding of various floor care techniques. This role involves working with different materials and tools to ensure high-quality installations that meet customer expectations. The Flooring Installer will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential and commercial spaces. Duties Install various types of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet. Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or underlayment. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete installations according to specifications. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine layout and design requirements. Perform restoration tasks related to water damage, ensuring proper techniques are followed for effective results. Conduct buffing and finishing processes to enhance the appearance of installed floors. Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects while maintaining a safe work environment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns during the installation process. Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation or related fields such as remodeling or the restoration industry. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and maintenance practices. Familiarity with concrete finishing processes is a plus. Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately. Proficient in using power tools safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot installation issues as they arise. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during installations.
