HVAC Licensed Lead Technician John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum WORK Inc. is seeking an individual that has a strong facility maintenance and mechanical background with demonstrated hands on Project Management skills. This position assists the WORK Inc. Project Manager in overseeing the Total Facility Maintenance contract at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, Dorchester, MA. HVAC Refrigerant Technician license is required for the position and have hands-on experience with building mechanical systems including boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical and plumbing. The candidates will have 5 years’ facility management experience, 3 of which is in a facility (s) of similar size, scope and complexity. This is a highly visible nationally recognized public orientated location. Therefore, it requires strong organizational and customer service skills, excellent written and oral communication and computer literacy. In addition, the ability to work comfortably and effectively with a wide variety of individuals including those with disabilities. Position requires the individual to be on call for emergency and contract related situations. Candidates must be able to pass a security clearance administered through the National Archives and Records Administration, a federal agency, and have a valid driver license with a good safety driving record. The position annual salary is $105,000.00 and includes an additional annual health and welfare amount of $9,068.80 that goes toward the payment of a health, vision and dental plan as well as life and disability insurance. Other benefits include paid vacation, sick time, float holidays and 11 paid Federal holidays. Educational Requirements: 5 years’ experience in basic facilities engineering work with at least 3 years of supervisory experience. HVAC licensure required.
