We are non-profit horse rescue with 100 horses in our care. Duties include feeding, mucking pens, watering, assisting ranch foreman with maintenance around the property and keeping working areas clean. The right candidate must be: *Able to lift and stack 20-40 hay bales weighing 65+ pounds per day *Be comfortable working outdoors in heat, rain, wind, cold, snow, etc. *Able to be on their feet most of the day *Able to work in a team environment *Once trained have the ability and maturity to perform duties to expected standards with little supervision *Have access to reliable transportation in all weather including mud and snow (we are five miles down a dirt road) *Willing to work on weekends and holidays *And enjoys working around horses *No experience required Employment is contingent on passing a background check. This is a part-time position; shifts are 7:30 am through 5:00 pm, three days a week.
