For the past 20 years, we have been providing high quality, mobile boat detailing services to Ft. Lauderdale and surrounding areas. Boats are located at client's residential docks, marinas and occasionally boat yards. We have a requirement for two (2) EXPERIENCED full-time, professional boat detailers, starting in early October, who live in Broward or Palm Beach counties. NO MIAMI DADE. You must be legal to work in the US - provide proof - and speak a good standard of English. In addition, you must have at least one (1) year's boat washing and detailing experience in the past two (2) years AND are currently working in the marine industry. **To apply, you must provide a current resume or structured email showing your last 5 year's work experience and skills** **All others will be rejected** Most importantly, you must be used to working in a structured and disciplined environment, in order that you can become an efficient detailer that supports the growth of the company. In return, we shall provide a competitive hourly rate, with wages paid electronically each weekend. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detailing, consistently producing high quality work, experience working in a team and have a strong work ethic. As a Detailer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the boats are cleaned, polished and presented to the highest quality standards, in a timely manner. This role requires both technical skills in all aspects of boat detailing and a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience. Main Roles and Responsibilities: Perform thorough cleaning of boats, including washing, cleaning and polishing of windows & isinglass, cleaning & protection of upholstery and canvas, polishing stainless, hull cleaning, cleaning of bilges, and teak cleaning to company standards. Utilize various detailing techniques such as removal of oxidation and polishing of the gelcoat or painted surfaces, using a Rotary and DA polishers. Provide excellent customer service by conducting oneself in a professional manner at all times. Basic Requirements: Minimum 18 years of age AND physically fit. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Drive your own reliable vehicle between jobs. Weather permitting, minimum target of 40 hours per week, 7am to 3:30pm Mon to Friday. Outside this schedule, when necessary. Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in the sun. Ability to work well in a team environment or independently.
