Porter (Oceanside)

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is now hiring for a Porter in the Oceanside area. Location: Oceanside, CA Pay: $19.00/hour Shift: Monday to Friday: 7 am - 3:30 pm *Please simply respond to this advertisement with your resume *I will then reach out to set up a time to chat Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, dining areas, and outdoor grounds.  Perform routine cleaning tasks such as:  Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors  Wiping down and sanitizing counters and surfaces  Dusting blinds and furniture  Cleaning windows and glass doors  Replacing trash liners and removing trash  Cleaning and maintaining appliances in common areas (e.g., microwaves, refrigerators)  Bringing out bins and preparing them for collection  Assist with the setup and breakdown of community events and activities as needed.  Conduct minor maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, reporting repairs, and ensuring proper waste disposal.  Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and inform the Maintenance Supervisor of any shortages.  Maintain a safe and hazard-free environment by promptly reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.  Support other staff and departments as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or General Manager.  Follow all safety protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.  Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and visitors by addressing concerns promptly and courteously. Qualifications:  Must have a valid driver’s license  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.  Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance work, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting.  Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.  Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.  Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
