Concrete Form Setter Job Description Job Summary: A Concrete Form Setter is a skilled construction worker responsible for constructing, assembling, and disassembling forms that hold concrete in place while it cures. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of construction blueprints and safety regulations.   Key Responsibilities:     •    Form Construction:     ◦    Cut, shape, and assemble formwork components using various hand and power tools.     ◦    Construct forms for foundations, walls, columns, slabs, and other concrete elements.     •    Form Placement:     ◦    Position and align forms according to blueprints and specifications.     ◦    Secure forms using ties, braces, and other fastening devices.     ◦    Ensure proper alignment, level, and plumb of forms.     •    Concrete Pouring:     ◦    Assist in the pouring of concrete into the forms.     ◦    Monitor the concrete placement process to ensure proper fill and vibration.     •    Form Removal:     ◦    Carefully remove forms after the concrete has cured, taking care not to damage the structure.     ◦    Clean and maintain formwork for reuse. Required Skills and Qualifications:     •    Physical strength to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.     •    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.     •    Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.     •    Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations.     •    Ability to work as part of a team.     •    Experience in construction or carpentry is preferred.
