Local educational institution based on Bend’s westside need a temporary custodian to add to their team. There is a chance that this opening could become a regular opening that the successful candidate can apply for (if successful in the role, they would be a known entity to the hiring team). Excellent benefits if hired with client organization. Schedule is approximately 6 hours per day- 2 pm to 8 pm, Monday- Friday. You’ll use state of the art equipment, environmentally friendly cleaning products and modern clearing practices to keep a variety of areas clean and in excellent condition. Areas to be cleaned may include classrooms, laboratory spaces, hallways, restrooms, showers, conference rooms, offices, dining halls, residence hall rooms, kitchens and outdoor spaces. Ideal Candidates: Previous janitorial experience in commercial, educational or public environment preferred, but not required. Works well without direction and is detail oriented. Working knowledge of equipment, safety practices and cleaning techniques Ability to interact and/or work with faculty, students, staff, and visitors in a respectful and courteous manner. Ability to work cooperatively with and contribute to a diverse workplace through ideas or experience.
