Small and established busy automotive repair shop seeking a service writer. This position will provide general customer service tasks such as answering the phone and assisting walk in customers. This position is responsible for pricing repair jobs and selling the recommended repair to the customer. The service writer will manage the flow of work for the shop and schedule repair and service jobs. Responsible for inventory management and ordering of parts by working with a variety of vendors. Automotive experience a plus but not required. We provide fire and safety equipment service to commercial businesses in the Puget Sound Region. Responsibilities will include servicing and repair of existing Restaurant Hood Systems and Fire Extinguisher maintenance and certification per requirements. We highly desire you have certifications from hood system training centers or manufacturers certifications. We have most certs and are willing to invest in someone who wants a long term career.
