Pay: Entry Level- $20-$23/hour DOE Skilled- $24-$28/hour DOE Health/ Dental/ Vision insurance 401(k) & Roth retirement plans Flexible spending account (FSA) Health savings account (HSA) Paid sick time Company paid Life insurance Per diem and hotel expenses for out-of-town work Prevailing wages, depending on projects assigned JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: A laborer is responsible for moving material such as lumber, bending rebar, setting up forms, stripping forms, placing concrete, grading, and general clean up on the project. This is a full-time position. QUALIFICATIONS: At least 18 years old Minimum of 1 year construction experience preferred Understand and follow company safety policies Must be able to travel and work out of town during the week (75%). Muse Concrete offers fuel reimbursement, lodging and per-diem (meal allowance) while working out of town. Must be able to report to work on time and work all hours required of the job, including overtime. Driver’s License preferred SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: Possess the ability to follow instructions as directed by the Foreman/Superintendent. Possess the ability to operate hand and power tools such as a hammer, tape measure, pliers, shovel, pick, roto hammer, vibraplate, jackhammer, digging bar, blower, etc. This is a safety-sensitive position. WORKING CONDITIONS: Primarily outdoor activity during all seasons. The work environment also includes work around motor vehicles and moving equipment. This position often requires working long hours from early morning to late night. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen (based on the state of CA’s illegal substances).
