About Us: We’re a brand-new, modern laundromat opening soon in South Los Angeles at 3991 S Western Ave! Locally owned and community-driven, we’re creating a clean, friendly, and upbeat space for our neighbors. We’re looking for a dependable, people-oriented team member to help us launch this new chapter. Position Overview: We’re seeking a part-time or full-time Laundromat Attendant with a strong background in customer service and premium wash & fold experience. The ideal candidate is kind, responsible, and takes pride in cleanliness and quality service. This role includes light tech duties like using a POS system and digital card reader software, assisting customers, and keeping the space spotless. Pay & Perks: $18/hour Quarterly bonuses ($500–$1,500) based on revenue and performance Flexible schedule (exact hours TBD) Fun, respectful, and supportive work environment Opportunities to grow with a new business Key Responsibilities: Greet all walk-in customers warmly; assist with questions on machines, payments, and laundry tips Manage wash & fold orders from start to finish: intake, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packaging with care Use POS system and card payment tools (LaundryWorks) to process orders Communicate clearly and kindly with customers—especially high-end or special-care clients Clean and maintain laundromat regularly: wipe machines, sweep/mop floors, sanitize folding tables, clean lint traps Restock supplies and notify the manager when inventory is low Monitor machines and troubleshoot issues (jams, unbalanced loads, etc.) Follow all safety and security protocols Requirements: Previous wash & fold experience (especially with high-end garments) is strongly preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Familiarity with basic POS and card-based payment systems Reliable and punctual Able to stand for long periods and lift bags of laundry Spanish-speaking is a plus Must live in or near South LA (Western Ave area) To Apply: No resume required—but you must include your name, phone number, and a few sentences about your past experience and availability.
