This contract runs from October 18 to October 20, 2025, across multiple locations. Two distinct roles are available: PC Technicians and Network Techs. Specify your preference in your application!   Project Details: Locations: Eau Claire, WI 54701 and Onalaska, WI 54650 Duration: October 18–20, 2025   Key Responsibilities: For All Technicians: Disconnect and remove old PCs per inventory Unbox and connect new PCs with peripherals (docking stations, keyboards, mice, monitors, headsets) Install 10-key and signature pads Set up branch server and capture PC Configure printer setups and validate test prints Test workstations: power up PCs/monitors, verify multi-monitor cursor tracking (per customer documentation) Move disconnected PCs and printers to designated campus locations Coordinate with facilities team for workspace cleanup   Additional for Network Technicians: Troubleshoot network devices: verify cable locations, fix broken/defective connections, connect routers to UPS units, link switches/routers/WAPs, label cables, test connectivity   Tools Required: All Technicians: Screwdrivers, pliers, cable cutters, Allen key sets Network Engineers: Combo Crimp/Strip Tool, laptop with Putty, console cable, toner   Qualifications: 2-3+ years servicing/deploying computer equipment Comfort working on your feet and lifting 50+ lbs. over a period of 8+ hours Outstanding communication skills Willingness to travel to multiple Minneapolis-area locations A+ Certification or equivalent Experience with similar hardware projects Ability to build rapport with clients and team Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking Positive, professional attitude   Take the Next Step!
