About the office: We are a small office working in the healthcare education industry and are looking for an IT Customer Support Specialist to grow with the company, interact with customers on the phone and via email, and expand in their role. You’ll collaborate with a diverse community of motivated professionals who value expert instruction, hands-on learning, and career advancement opportunities. About the responsibilities, duties, and qualifications: ● Agreeable to maintaining appropriate vaccinations (e.g., COVID-19, influenza) ● Perform data imports, data exports, and data integrity checks within our databases. ● Provide technical support to users, including training, troubleshooting, and resolving issues. ● Work independently and collaboratively with all colleagues within the organization. ● Motivated, organized, forward-thinking, and punctual ● Communicate with developers and other IT consultants/vendors. ● Collaborate with IT team members to assist with infrastructure upgrades and transitions and to ensure efficient operation of the organization's IT environment. ● Maintain an accurate inventory database for tracking all IT equipment. ● Other duties as assigned Requirements: ● Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts to a non-technical audience and to appropriately escalate matters to management for resolution ● Efficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, Teams, To-do, PowerPoint, and Outlook) ● Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting ● Ability to work with app developers, education platforms, web developers, and other third parties ● College degree, or equivalent combination of experience/training, in one of the following fields or a similar field: computer science, engineering, computer information systems ● Basic knowledge of HTML ● Provide customer service by maintaining a friendly and patient demeanor, actively listening to user concerns, and efficiently communicating solutions. ● Effectively troubleshoot, organize, and document issues and solutions ● Experience using project management tools (e.g., JIRA) ● Experience with WordPress and Elementor ● Data systems (e.g., ZoomInfo, HubSpot) and data management experience ● Understanding of quality assurance practices A plus: ● Experience with other software platforms: Cincopa, Vimeo, Learnosity, DaCast ● Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) (e.g., LearnDash, Canvas, Blackboard, D2L) More about this position: ● Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m. (28.75 hours per week) with the possibility for additional hours in the future ● Location: Los Angeles, CA 90046 ● Pay rate: $25.00 ● Casual dress code ● Sick Time: 48 hours annually, available after 90 days; prorated based on hire date and projected hours worked ● Paid Holidays: 6 paid holidays each year after 90 days of employment ● If invited for an interview, applicants must be able to provide three professional references. ● The interview process will include a written skills assessment, reference checks, and a background check. ● Equal Opportunity Employer ● No health benefits offered
