The position? We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for one of our communities, Berkeley Landing – a 112-unit multifamily community located in Riviera Beach, FL. What are my responsibilities as a Wendover Maintenance Technician? Responsibilities You will be responsible for the meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, common areas, parking lot/garage, and other community buildings You will remove trash from office areas and community perimeter daily and from trash chutes to compactor daily or more. You will prepare the make-ready units, including trash removal from vacant apartments, prior to make-ready. Assist the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner. Clean available apartments and or models. Troubleshoot/repair mechanical, carpentry, and electrical problems, including HVAC. Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Property Manager. Meticulously maintain the curb appeal of the community. Assist office personnel with other various tasks required. Assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, etc. Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shop. Report to the Property Manager. ***This job description is not an all-inclusive list of functions and tasks. Job functions may be added, deleted, or modified at any time by the management team.*** Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience is preferred Light carpentry, drywall repair, and texture; painting Computer literacy is a plus but not required Ability to multi-task Outstanding customer service and embracing a shared responsibility environment Must be fully vaccinated and be able to provide documentation upon hire or be able to provide a completed request for a medical or religious accommodation What are the Working Conditions/Environment/Physical Demands of this position? The Maintenance Technician position is a full-time position; may be called upon to work after hours and on weekends. A rotating on-call schedule may be required Working conditions will be outside as well as indoors Physical demands will require but not be limited to the mobility to effectively complete job requirement Benefits In addition to good working conditions and competitive pay, we provide a plethora of supplemental benefits to all eligible associates.
