Maintenance Technician
Essential Functions: Under direction of the Property Manager, the candidate will perform varied simple and moderately physically strenuous tasks involved in cleaning and maintaining the Association buildings and grounds. The candidate will assist in making general repairs and maintenance to buildings and/or equipment and other related duties as required. The candidate may be required to run, maintain, and turn off the boiler system.   The examples of duties and responsibilities below are intended to describe the general nature and level of work to be performed by individuals in this position, rather than an extensive list. -          Perform varied simple and moderately physically strenuous tasks involved in cleaning and maintaining offices, bathrooms, buildings, and grounds. -          Light plumbing and electrical work (such as bleeding radiators, changing smoke detectors, changing light fixtures) -          Run the boiler system during required month of operation. -          Assist in making repairs to buildings or equipment. -          When assigned, move objects weighing about 50 pounds. -          When assigned, move heavy supplies, and equipment. -          Dispose of trash, recycling, and other materials to keep space safe. -          Distribute supplies to Pool during months of operation. -          Limited landscaping including trimming of trees, hedges etc., -          Perform additional salting of walkways to supplement vendors -          Other duties, as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -          Knowledge about boiler systems and their fueling, firing, maintenance, and repairs. -          Knowledge about building maintenance and repairs. -          Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and a diverse and varied resident base. -          Ability to undertake repairs and maintain equipment.
