Medical Instrument Technician / Perfusionist Avant Tech is looking for a dedicated Medical Instrument Technician / Perfusionist for a featured role in a premier healthcare facility. This position is critical in supporting surgical teams during complex cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating extracorporeal circulation equipment and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. Responsibilities: Set up and operate cardiopulmonary bypass equipment during surgical interventions. Monitor patient vitals and cardiovascular status throughout procedures. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to develop patient care plans. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of medical equipment. Participate in quality assurance protocols and staff training programs. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation. Requirements Qualifications: OIG Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT). Strong understanding of advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) protocols. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Perfusion or related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
