Caregiver

Schedule: • Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM • Travel: 70% office-based; travel to patient homes (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Queens) for wound care consults as needed • Caseload: 15-20 consults per day Responsibilities: 1. Assess and treat complex wounds, ostomies, pressure injuries, burns, and diabetic foot wounds. 2. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized, evidence-based care plans. 3. Provide patient and family education on wound care, infection prevention, and treatment measures. 4. Participate in the development and revision of wound and ostomy care policies and protocols. 5. Train and evaluate field nurses on wound care techniques and documentation. 6. Conduct quality improvement initiatives, case load reviews, and chart audits. 7. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and agency policies and procedures. Requirements Qualifications: • License/Certifications: • Active New York State Registered Nurse License • Wound Care Nurse Certification or Wound Ostomy Care Nurse Certification • BCLS Certification • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required) • Experience: • Minimum 2 years in a Certified Home Health Agency or post-acute care setting • 2 years of medical/surgical experience • 2 years of public/community health experience • Familiarity with performance improvement initiatives and relevant software applications Skills and Technical Requirements: • Knowledge of EPIC H2O, Microsoft Office Suite, and PI applications • Experience with wound care equipment, including Varisource/HDR and CT Simulator • Strong verbal, written, organizational, and analytical skills Requirements: • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) • COVID-19 vaccine not required Benefits Compensation: • Pay Rate: $91/hour

Looking for armed guards for a jewelry store inside the Southland mall in Hayward Pay will be w2/payroll, 5th and 20th of every month, direct deposit. $24 an hour for armed, straight pay. Shifts are 7 to 8 hours a day starting at 11 AM. Prefer guards with a good presence, confident, and experienced. Please have at least a vest or other security gear. You must have a valid guard card and exposed firearm permit. Post orders consist of maintaining a visual presence inside the jewelry store, monitoring shoppers, and performing any security related duty that the store staff needs help with. Our Hospice Triage Nurses: Have experience in hospice, palliative, end-of-life care and in fast-paced environments: ED, critical care, surgical services, etc. Part-time nurses work a minimum of 1 week day shift & every other weekend both Saturday & Sunday Receive three weeks of remote paid training. You’re required to use your own high-speed internet You’ll need a quiet space, away from noise and distraction, while you work (privacy/HIPAA compliant space is required). Hospice, palliative, end-of-life care is strongly preferred Experience in a fast-paced environment: ED, surgical services, or critical care, etc. Must be comfortable accessing multiple technology applications to document during calls Ability and comfort with typing in a fast-paced environment Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a bonus Must physically reside in the U.S. and be legally eligible to work for any employer Must be able to complete three weeks of remote paid training that is conducted during days and evenings Must be available to work every other Saturday & Sunday Must be available to work some Holidays as required Must be able to handle stress and multitask when receiving calls (minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays, and up to 8 per hour on weekends) Must be able to communicate empathically with patients while adhering to protocols Must maintain CEU’s as designated by the states in which you are answering calls Must attend any in-services, and additional training on an as needed basis Must pass background check and nurse licensing check Benefits All Remote Hospice Triage RNs, once trained to their originally assigned team are paid $23 per hour. There are multiple opportunities to increase the hourly rate. All nurses are eligible for a $1 shift differential for overnights and a $1 shift differential for weekends (Saturday & Sunday). All part-time and full-time nurses accumulate PTO, based on the number of hours worked (per year). All part-time and full-time nurses are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan. Full-time nurses may also participate in medical, dental, vision, and/or supplemental insurances.
