Environmental Services Aide

Overview: For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. Through a caring, compassionate philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospital provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care. Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Environment Services Manager, or designee, cleans and services hospital building area, including patient and non-patient space, and performs a variety of housekeeping and or laundry duties to maintain the hospital and its grounds in an orderly and sanitary condition. Job Type: Per Diem; Day, Evening, Night Salary: $24.8624/hourly COVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged for all new hires prior to beginning employment at Calvary Hospital.
