This position is contingent on contract award** First Division Consulting is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Network) to support a Department of the Navy (DoN) customer in Dahlgren, VA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network architecture, design, implementation, and security within a high-stakes DoD environment. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure network infrastructures, leveraging Cisco, Juniper, TCP/IP, and VoIP technologies, while ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage secure LAN/WAN architectures for a DoD operational environment. Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and fiber optic networking solutions. Utilize Cisco and Juniper networking technologies to enhance network security and performance. Oversee cable plant design and network infrastructure installations, ensuring mission-critical availability. Implement VoIP solutions, optimizing performance and security for voice communications.
