Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is looking for a part time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Southport (Bolivia, NC) office! This position would be part time Mondays and Fridays. DENTAL HYGIENIST POSITION SUMMARY A Dental Hygienist for Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry works together with our dentists to meet the oral health needs of our patients. A Dental Hygienist is responsible for promoting dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, providing oral cancer screenings, periodontal maintenance, charting dental solutions, willingness to assist with a variety of responsibilities in the dental office, and performing in compliance with Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry’s highest standard of care. DENTAL HYGIENIST KEY COMPETENCIES Assess dental condition and needs of patient using patient screening procedures, including medical history review, dental charting, and perio charting Delivers direct patient care using established dental hygienist procedures Takes patient vital signs Performs routine treatment procedures, such as cleaning and polishing Takes radiographs required for diagnosis of treatment needs by the dentist Applies sealants and fluorides Electronic record keeping Documents patient dental history and chief complaint Records and reports pertinent observations Teaches patients how to prevent tooth decay and gum disease through proper diet and oral home care Cleans and sterilizes instruments Completes Treatment Plan as prescribed by the dentist Reviews and explains treatment plan and associates fees with patient Ability to articulate and express patients concerns to dentist Primary treatment coordinator Ancillary duties as needed Requirements Must be present by 7:45am as clinic opens at 8am (operational hours may vary based on location); individual must be reliable. SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Site Superintendent will oversee the construction project on a daily basis. They will assist with the supervision of all onsite work. This often includes, but not limited to demolition, intricate foundation replacements, excavations, layout of in-house trim carpentry team, supervise and coordinate with all trade labor and subcontractors, and interface with our company president, project manager, architect, engineers, local officials, and others. Our work extends from foundations thru to final trim and paint. Additional responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: • Review architectural and structural designs to determine scope of work (organized by Autodesk Build software on iPads) • Oversee projects to maintain compliance with construction safety codes and other regulatory requirements. • Prepare daily logs for construction activities and daily project reports. • Coordinate with project team and building trades for the preparation and processing of project documentation, including, but not limited to submittals, RFI's and Change Order requests. * layout carpentry tasks for employees of our firm EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: • Seven to ten years minimum experience in general construction, with emphasis on high end RESIDENTIAL projects preferred in SF or Marin County. POSITION SUMMARY The primary role of the Patient Coordinator is to help the dental office stay on schedule, schedules new appointments, enters patient data for billing purposes, communicates with patients in an efficient and empathetic manner, and generally keeps the office stocked with necessary supplies.
