Sales Associate- Broome St. General Store at Platform (Culver City)

We’re currently hiring for our Culver City location at Platform—our thoughtfully curated, retail-only shop (no café). This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a design-forward space, enjoys providing warm, high-touch customer service, and feels just as confident behind the scenes—whether that’s processing online orders, managing inventory, or keeping operations running smoothly. Broome St. General Store’s original Silver Lake location is a luxury convenience store inspired by Broome Street in Manhattan’s NoLita neighborhood. A full-service café and coffee bar sit inside a mini-department store of pantry staples, home goods, and cult-favorite brands. Think 7-Eleven meets Neiman Marcus—but cool. Since 2010, we’ve proudly served a diverse community of locals, travelers, and regulars with a down-to-earth vibe. ⭐ ABOUT THE ROLE: The Retail Sales Associate provides outstanding customer service while handling inventory, restocking, order fulfillment, and visual merchandising. You’ll work independently but as part of a tight, creative team. 🛠 RESPONSIBILITIES: • Open and close the store
• Build strong customer relationships
• Process transactions using Square POS
• Fulfill online orders + process shipments
• Restock, tidy, and maintain product displays
• Support visual merchandising across departments
• Ensure stock areas are clean, organized, and safe
• Learn product info through training and research
• Communicate sales trends and feedback to the team
• Assist with Shopify uploads, audits, and backend tasks
• Pitch in for special events and projects as needed ✅ QUALIFICATIONS: • 1–2 years in retail 
• Familiarity with POS (Square preferred)
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
• Excel or inventory platform knowledge a plus • admin experience a plus!
