We complement our own organic farm produced products with pantry items featuring local and organic goods. We take pride in creating artisanal shop-made products that showcase our passion for quality and flavor. The farm store supports environmental efforts, re-using packaging, recycling, composting. Job Description: We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Team Member with sales skills to join us. In this role, you will assist customers in selecting the cheeses and other products and ensure the store provides an exceptional shopping experience. This position includes weekends. Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers with product recommendations, pairing suggestions, and samples. Provide knowledge of cheeses and other products (Training provided) Slice, weigh, and package cheese with care. Maintain a clean and organized store environment Maintain the cleaning and re-use of returned jars Operate the Square register and handle transactions accurately. Learn and uphold food safety and handling standards, including proper storage and labeling for shop-made products. Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals and create a positive work environment. Assist with promotional events. Qualifications: Passion for cheese, farm grown meat, food and culinary culture. Previous experience in retail sales and customer service Food preparation experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb. weight. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and processes.
