Job Description Atlantic is seeking General Laborers to join our masonry & concrete crews. The general laborer is responsible for performing various non-specialty tasks at a construction site. These duties include loading or unloading materials, cleaning, sweeping, organizing, basic assembly, digging or filling holes, and assisting skilled tradespeople. This position requires lifting, bending, scooping, climbing, and handling of heavy construction materials. Requirements Verifiable work experience in construction Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, carry, and handle materials of up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for long periods Must be able to pass a drug test (including marijuana) Must pass federal background check Must be punctual and have reliable transportation. The team member will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of brand new model homes, including bathrooms and Sales Offices. Primary responsibilities include troubleshooting/repairing underground coal mining equipment Perform full service on all equipment, diesel or electric Proper troubleshooting techniques on diesel and electric equipment Visually inspect and secure work area for hazards or potential hazards Ensure equipment, and tools are utilized in a safe and responsible manner Self-motivated and confident to work individually, but also the ability to work well with others as a team Determine the type and extent of repair work needed on various types of mining equipment Interpret blueprints, and schematics Perform work area housekeeping duties Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Other duties as necessary Requirements Experience with both diesel and electrical underground coal mining equipment 2 +  years experience, preferred Benefits In-experienced Mechanics are processed through a contracting service starting at $20.00 per hour.
