POSITION SUMMARY As a valued member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations along the production line, where you will be tasked with a variety of important job duties that ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes. Your primary responsibilities will include operating production line machinery with care and precision, as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting any issues that may arise in the workflow. It is essential that you perform these tasks with a strong emphasis on safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards throughout the production process.  WHAT YOU WILL DO: Manage operation of production line machinery, tools, and computer systems. Facilitate seamless equipment change-overs. Operate mobile equipment to support roll time and meet production demands. Keep your workspace tidy by cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment. Ensure safety by turning off and locking out equipment when it's not in use. Adhere to detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. Communicate any issues regarding quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Production Supervisor. Execute all tasks in line with quality standards and established safety protocols. POSITION SUMMARY Assembles Mechanical products and mechanical assemblies to meet drawing specifications, working at bench or on shop floor. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Utilizes basic assembly techniques to assemble components correctly. Uses hand tools, powered drivers, torque wrenches, and other basic hand tools. Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners as required by drawing specifications. Ability to learn to recognize potential quality deficiencies in assemblies and notifies department lead of such concerns. Assisting the plant with shipping and receiving activities. Operates drill presses, arbor presses, or various other machines to assist in assembly operation. Performs basic quality assurance functions to ensure sub-assemblies meet specifications. Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Assists with loading and unloading large crates of product. Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for creating a professional, safe, and clean environment evidenced by: being at work on time to perform assigned duties, following the policies of Granite State Manufacturing, always wearing safety glasses in designated areas, maintaining a neat and orderly work area, and following safety practices to prevent errors. JOB SUMMARY The Parts Finisher performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce various types of specified products in addition to completing routine tasks of hand washing or operating the ultra-sonic wash machine to clean manufactured components.    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Deburs parts with tools such as deburring wheels, reamers, drills, sandpaper, scotchbrite, small files, or small pneumatic tools. Loads and unloads materials or parts from washer to specified area. Immerses objects in washing and rinsing solutions to remove debris. Washes parts in ultrasonic machine or solvent, dries parts, examines parts, removes debris. Measures and pours soap or chemical into wash water, set controls to regulate cycle of wash and water temperature. Inspects parts, some under microscope. Responsible for Heli-Coil installation Completes parts assembly (non-electronic parts) and packaging. Completes paperwork. Operates a pallet jack / other moving equipment. REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor as needed. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to recognize and sort materials. Ability to operate machinery. Strong work ethic: Willing to work OT to meet tight deadlines as needed.   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Previous general labor experience in a machine shop environment preferred. High School diploma or GED Equivalent preferred. Ability read, write, and speak English fluently.   PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Regularly required to stand and reach the duration of shift, 8-10 hours.
