In addition, the team reviews and assess children’s health needs to identify health concerns and provides health education to parents and staff. Support children and families in addressing & meeting health requirements (i.e. medical, dental, hearing, vision, growth & development) Reviews enrolling child files to accept children’s files for classroom attendance per KDHE licensing standards and Performance Standards. Screens each child file for current health status. Assesses and evaluates child health records regularly throughout the year Monitors and/or completes 45/90 health screenings as defined by Head Start Performance standards for children enrolled in home/center base services.
