Wine Sales Position available with an established Bay Area wine brokerage in San Francisco. We’re an independent brokerage that specializes in small production and local artisan wines seeking a superstar to rock the Peninsula with these amazing local wineries. Proven sales experience and wine sales experience required. We’ve 40 years plus in the local market under our belts and are very respected in the industry. Commission rate is competitive and commensurate with experience. This is an independent contractor position that will be best served by someone who is already selling wine or/and has an established income stream. A draw against commission and an expense budget can be provided for experienced applicants. Serious replies only with a cover letter germane to this post please. Our portfolio carries an emphasis on high quality local wines at very competitive price points, small family producers, artisan hand crafted wines, and we value working with people that are a joy to work with. This position requires a lot of go-getting and willingness to go after new business and build your territory from the ground up. A good car and knowledge of the Food and Wine industry in the respective territories is absolutely required as well as solid wine-knowledge, a firm grasp on how to close a sale, ability to manage, maintain, and grow multiple relationships effectively in a long-term scenario, excellent organization skills, and plenty of drive and passion. In 1914, Clara Endicott Sears opened the grounds to the public, establishing a museum in the property’s 1820s farmhouse.
