Description

Kitchen Manager / Supervisor – We’re Looking for a True Leader in the Kitchen! (Part-time) Are you the kind of person who thrives in the heat of the kitchen, leads by example, and genuinely cares about the people you work with? We’re on the lookout for a hands-on Kitchen Manager / Supervisor who knows their way around both a cutting board and a schedule. This isn’t a desk job — we’re looking for someone who can jump on the line when needed, keep the team motivated, solve problems without panic, and help make sure every plate that leaves the kitchen is something to be proud of. ________________________________________ What You’ll Be Doing: • Leading the Kitchen Team Hire, train, and coach staff so they know what good looks like — and feel supported getting there. You’ll build a kitchen culture that’s focused, respectful, and maybe even fun. • Problem Solving Like a Pro Whether it’s a last-minute call-out, a supplier issue, or a ticket jam during the rush — you stay calm, think clearly, and find smart solutions on the spot. • Keeping Things Running Smoothly Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, making sure food comes out on time, correctly prepped, and looking great. If something breaks or goes sideways, you’re the calm in the storm. • Inventory & Ordering Stay on top of stock levels, ordering only what we need and keeping waste to a minimum. Keep your eye on labor hours. • Health & Safety Standards You’ll be the go-to for making sure we’re following all the health codes, food safety guidelines, and cleaning routines. Clean kitchen = happy staff + safe guests. • Menu Execution & Collaboration Work with leadership on rolling out new menu items, pricing, portioning, and maintaining consistency. You care about quality — and it shows. • Customer Service Mindset Even if you're not on the dining floor, you know that what happens in the kitchen directly affects the guest experience. You take pride in making sure every food item reflects the quality and care our customers deserve. ________________________________________ What We’re Looking For: • Someone with 3+ years kitchen management or leadership experience (ideally in fast casual or full-service ) • Comfortable leading a team and holding people accountable, while still treating them with respect • A strong problem solver who can think fast and act smarter • Solid understanding of food prep, kitchen flow, and back-of-house operations • Customer-focused and quality-driven • Able to stay calm under pressure, shift gears quickly, and handle unexpected challenges • ServSafe certified (or willing to get it) • Comfortable with basic computer tasks – inventory systems, ordering, scheduling, maybe a little Excel or POS work • High school diploma or equivalent ________________________________________ • Flexible Scheduling ________________________________________ A Final Word: If you’re the type of person who takes ownership, shows up for your team, solves problems before they become disasters, and still has a sense of humor during the dinner rush — we want to talk. We’re not just hiring a Kitchen Manager. We’re looking for someone who cares about their craft, their coworkers, and the guests we serve. Let’s build something great together.
