Our production kitchen on 5th Avenue supports all WINNER locations, producing the fresh, seasonal food that defines our brand. We’re seeking a Full-Time Production Cook / Receiver to join our team. This hybrid role focuses on preparing food for WINNER locations and catering while also handling incoming deliveries and coordinating the transfer of goods to other locations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment, is detail-oriented, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative, supportive team. Position Overview This is a dual role combining production cooking and receiving responsibilities. You’ll prepare high-quality food items for multiple WINNER locations and catering orders, ensuring consistency and accuracy. You’ll also manage vendor deliveries, properly store products, and stage transfers of ingredients, dry goods, and prepared items to other WINNER sites. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on kitchen work, is highly organized, and is eager to learn about operations that span multiple concepts within one hospitality group. Key ResponsibilitiesFood Production Prepare high-quality foods, sauces, proteins, and other items for WINNER locations and catering events Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and production sheets to ensure consistency and quality Assist with daily prep lists, batch cooking, and packaging of prepared items Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation Support catering team needs during peak production periods Receiving & Inventory Management Receive deliveries from vendors and verify quantities, quality, and invoices Organize and store all goods according to company systems and NYC Department of Health standards Rotate stock following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures to ensure freshness and reduce waste Stage and prepare transfers of goods, prepared items, and ingredients for delivery to other WINNER locations Communicate product shortages or quality issues to chefs and management Collaboration & Compliance Work closely with the culinary team to meet production schedules and transfer deadlines Maintain excellent relationships with vendors and delivery drivers Follow all NYC Department of Health, OSHA, and company food safety regulations Support special catering events and seasonal menu rollouts as needed Qualifications & Skills 2+ years of kitchen experience in production, prep, line or similar Previous experience in a receiving role preferred (but willing to train the right candidate) Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production kitchen Familiarity with basic food safety and sanitation standards required Experience using kitchen equipment, knives, and inventory systems preferred Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills (Spanish language skills are a plus) Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings Benefits & Perks Competitive hourly pay: $19 - $21 Paid Time Off (PTO) Pre-tax commuter benefits Retirement Plan benefits 25% employee discount at all WINNER locations Opportunities for growth within WINNER Hospitality Create your FREE profile on CulinaryAgents.com to apply to any job with a single click! Hotel Maintenance Person (Eagle Rock)
Hotel: The Hills Inn Eagle Rock Hourly Rate $20.00 Total working days each week: 3 days to start (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) with potential for 5 days based on performance. Working Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Duties: - The maintenance person installs, repairs, upkeeps, and cleans. - Maintains a positive “CAN DO” attitude all the time. - Performs repairs of HVAC units, electrical, and plumbing as needed. - Responds quickly to service requests from the front desk agents. - Performs general building maintenance tasks as needed: painting, drywall repairs, ceiling tiles/grid repair/replacement, flooring/base repairs, minor carpentry repairs in doors or other furniture. - Cleans the hotel grounds that include parking lot, pool area, guest laundry, elevator, wash the hotel stairs, clean rail guards, clean windows, etc. - Paints assigned areas and patch walls as needed. - Deep Cleans hotel rooms (usually 3 rooms per day) that includes carpet washing, stains removal, moving beds and headboards to vacuum, apply silicon in bathroom/shower areas, treat showerheads to remove calcification, open and clean p-traps under sink to prevent odors, etc. - Inspects buildings and grounds for malfunctioning equipment building issues and unsafe conditions. - Reports all known safety hazards, equipment issues and customer concerns. - Completes other facility maintenance duties as required/assigned. - Complies with Company policies and procedures. - Completes the list of assigned activities at the end of the shift. - Must be an honest and reliable person.
