Essential Functions/Responsibilities Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following: • Greet guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. • Provide information about the food and beverage offerings and take patron orders. • Ensure that patron needs are met promptly and resolve any issues or concerns with a positive and solution-oriented attitude. • Respond appropriately to patron complaints. • Inputs orders at the point of sale and creates a receipt for a cash or credit card transaction • Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions. • Verifies the validity of charges, receives payment from guests, and, when cash is tendered, refunds the accurate change. • Manage cash drawers, balancing them at the beginning and end of each shift and reporting discrepancies as needed. • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to facility standards and safety regulations. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession area, including countertops, food displays, and utensils. • Restock food and beverage supplies as needed, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed. • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment, including cleaning tables, counters, and floors as needed. • Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff. • Collaborate with other team members and management to ensure smooth operations and provide support during busy times. • Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications • Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced or hospitality setting. • Familiarity with the TOAST POS system is a plus. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Ability to work efficiently and under pressure. • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with management, co-workers, clients, and customers using principles of good customer service. • Possess a positive attitude, work well independently and as part of a team. • Requires being responsible, reliable, and dependable to fulfill job obligations. • Work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Minimum Requirements • Any combination of education, experience, and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities to perform the responsibilities of this position. One year of cashier experience. High school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to obtain valid Food Handlers and Responsible Beverage Server certifications within 30 days of employment.
