A little tongue in cheek there, but the sentiment is real. We are looking for someone who can lead and collaborate with pastry and baked goods at the same time. Peck’s and Peckish have been baking popular treats in house for 13 years, and a fresh set of eyes would be welcomed. I do not believe in ideal candidates because sometimes the resume doesn’t tell the full story. I would like a baker who has moved up the ranks at a well-regarded establishment and helped develop recipes and flavors. A baker who can straddle confidence and humility with aplomb. Look, there is a lot of stuff to think about in this crazy messed up world that can stress you out, but it would be great to find a baker who finds the time to look at other bakeries’ menus and reads cookbooks to find the inspiration that is out the in the world. Basic prep experience needed. Cashiers/Beertenders will be working in the strawberry stand serving chocolate strawberry cups, and canned beverages, as well as champagne and strawberries.
