Description

1889 - Steakhouse is located in the old Mercantile Building in downtown Missoula. We are looking for experienced kitchen staff to join our team. We are a locally owned, classic steak house, with nightly dinner service. Applicants should have 2-3 years of experience as a Line Cook, preferably in a fine dining atmosphere. Good knife skills, the ability to break down primal meats, fresh seafood, proficiency on grill and sauté, and an overall understanding of proper food presentation are preferred skillsets. Hourly wage is dependent on experience level, $16 to $18/hour which is supplemented by a substantial tip share program that averages an additional $6 per hour. Added benefits include a generous employee discount and free golf privileges at The Highlands Golf Club. We are closed most major holidays. Work in a great atmosphere with a positive culture.
