As a Corporate Account Executive, you’ll build your book of business from the ground up by connecting local non-profits, brands, and corporations with opportunities to grow their business with a highly engaged audience through sponsorship. Position Summary: As a part of the Corporate Support team, this highly motivated person will secure sponsorships from organizations and brands who want to market to Oregon and SW Washington individuals. This position identifies and connects with prospective sponsors, develops and maintains positive relationships with sponsors, maintains records, follows internal processes and guidelines, and reaches personal and department sponsorship/income goals. Working Conditions: Work Environment: Extended use of a computer, zoom and phone. The Corporate Support team is remote, with opportunities to work in office as needed. Schedule: This position may require flexible working hours to respond to client needs and frequent regional travel to attend the following in person: prospect and client meetings, events, and staff meetings. Reports to: Associate Director, Corporate Support Minimum Position Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attitudes): 2 years of successful sales experience, prospecting and growing successful business relationships with a large number of clients. Enthusiasm for cold calling and proven success in new business procurement. Highly motivated and goal-oriented. Ability to develop sales strategies to meet targets and pivot as the market demands. Experience working in a team environment. Proven ability to sell an intangible service. Excellent communication skills including diplomacy, negotiating, writing correspondence, and oral presentations to individuals and groups. Strong computer skills, including experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM software. Proactive, oriented to problem solving, teamwork, systematic thinking and constant pursuit of improvement. Adaptable and flexible to demands of workflow and nature of projects. Must take initiative and balance multiple priorities with speed and accuracy. Ability to project a professional demeanor and perform activities in a manner that benefits OPB, KMHD and the community we serve. Access to transportation to meetings and events as needed. Genuine enthusiasm for the services and mission of OPB. Preferred Position Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attitudes): Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field. Media sales experience. Full cycle account management. Ability to sell successfully when the buyer must comply with rules (i.e.: FCC regulations) they may not agree with. Experience using Salesforce. Additional Information: This position reports to Associate Director of Corporate Support and is benefits eligible. The probable hiring range for this exempt position is between $56000 - $66000 annually, depending on qualifications. This position has access to highly sensitive data and therefore must pass a background check. This position requires a valid driver's license and will requires consent to OPB conducting a driving record check.
