The Activity Specialist will bring a passion for the mission of Harlem Children’s Zone: break the cycle of intergenerational poverty with comprehensive, on-the-ground programming that builds up opportunities for children and families to thrive in school, work, and life. We are looking for enthusiastic part-time Activity Specialists across various disciplines to guide our students in after-school activities. After school is the time to develop any special interests! Ideally our candidate would have experience working with disabled individuals and a passion for mentoring young adults in a supportive environment. What You'll Do: This role combines hands-on cafe management with vocational training. The Cafe Manager will oversee daily operation of the cafe, ensuring high-quality service, and working closely with the Head of Vocational Programs to teach our students essential skills for working in a cafe setting.
