Software Engineer Chantilly, VA Active TS/SCI w/ FS Poly required Introduction: Software Engineer to support an office that is accountable for clearance processing of all individuals with access to Customer data and facilities. This position is in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. In this role you will work in a specialized team that will help gain efficiencies in communication and workflow processes by optimizing communication using cross domain network solutions (i.e. unsecure to secure network connections) in conjunction with software. Required Skills: 1. Analyzing client/business requirements and designing appropriate cloud-based systems and architectures. 2. Developing, testing, and debugging cloud-native applications using programming languages like Python, Java, REACT, Node and JavaScript. 3. Developing, testing, and debugging cloud serverless functions. 4. Developing, testing, and debugging web-based UI pages to ingest data and generate JSON, CSV, and TXT files. Desired Skills: 1. Linux Administration to include bash scripting, cron jobs, and remote access. 2. Knowledgeable of cross domain services like AWS Diode. 3. Knowledgeable of cloud monitoring and security features such as AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc. 4. Knowledgeable of cloud infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes. 5. Experience in monitoring performance metrics and optimizing systems as needed. 6. Collaborating with development teams and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. 7. Implementing best practices for security, compliance, and access control. 8. Perform risk and vulnerability scans using cloud-based tools. 9. Ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient. 10. Renewing security certificates and tokens. Requirements 1. The Sr. Systems Engineer's primary role will involve the development of electro-mechanical systems, system architecture, and the accompanying documentation in accordance with established quality system procedures.
