As a key player in our product lifecycle, you'll leverage your technical expertise, creativity, and user-first mindset to deliver exceptional SaaS solutions that align with market needs. This role offers the opportunity to tackle innovative technical and developer experience challenges, collaborate closely with users as part of a product-driven team, and make meaningful contributions where your impact will be most significant. Key Responsibilities: Work with large amounts of data at scale and database tables with billions of rows. Strong focus on users and product innovation — engineers are front-and-center in product development and decision-making processes. You will be directly involved in customer research, designing and implementing features, measuring product results, and iteration. Very agile but non-dogmatic development environment, deploying several times each day Develop solutions to novel technical and developer experience problems; we are building the first true platform-as-a-service (PaaS) for mobile messaging. Design, develop, and maintain scalable SaaS applications using modern frameworks and tools. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define product features and roadmap priorities. Create robust, maintainable, scalable software architecture that meets business and technical requirements. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while ensuring proper testing and debugging processes are followed. Develop APIs and integrations with third-party services to enhance product capabilities. Continuously monitor, analyze, and improve application performance and user experience. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery, aligning development timelines with business objectives. Integrate user feedback into iterative development processes to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations. Technologies We Use Languages: Rust, Python, TypeScript, Go (golang) Infrastructure + Tools: Postgres, Redis, Clickhouse, AWS, Terraform, Docker, Git, React Requirements 5+ years of software engineering experience in a high-growth SaaS startup environment. A collaborative, pragmatic, user-focused mindset. Experience with performance and optimization problems, ability to resolve and prevent them. Experience across the full stack in production web and server codebases with sophisticated use of relational database systems. The ability to build within unfamiliar systems and write maintainable, well-tested code. Key Duties and Responsibilities: General Operations Support production staff when technical issues arise, perform root-cause analysis on said issues, and implement quality solutions in a timely manner. Research, build business case, and implement capital expenditures to improve operational efficiencies in a manufacturing environment. Develop and recommend new processes and technologies to improve product quality and cost-effectiveness. Follow established manufacturing techniques and operating equipment specifications, identifying process improvements and resolution to issues where possible. Participate in providing technical direction, training, and certification for operators performing detailed process steps to ensure that production assemblers, testers, inspectors, and support staff have necessary skills, appropriate documentation, tooling, and process control capability. Participate in the qualification and development of suppliers for components, sub-assemblies, and processes. Implement design and development activities related to operations assessment, process development, and product validation. Working knowledge of standard electrical tests and test equipment such as voltmeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc. Ability to perform basic statistical analysis of test data using statistical tools, such as Minitab.
