St. Patrick’s Kenwood is looking for a new Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for: • Collecting and submitting bills to our bookkeeper, printing and mailing checks. • Working with volunteer money counters preparing the weekly deposit • Gathering and sorting mail • Producing the weekly Order of Service • Producing the weekly e-newsletter “The Grapevine” using Mailchimp. • Keeping the website up to date in collaboration with our web designer • Handling contracts with outside groups who rent the facility • Calendaring Events • Maintaining files • Maintaining and updating the parish database • Keeping Memorial Garden records and requests current • Fielding requests from parishioners • Acting as a point person • Other duties as needed. The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Priest-in-charge. This is both a lively and a detail-oriented position. Good people skills and computer literacy (Google and Microsoft Office) a must. Job is three days a week, 6 hours per day. Salary is $24/hour.
