What You’ll Do - Lead all aspects of daily community operations with professionalism and care. - Drive leasing success by ensuring apartments are marketed and occupied quickly. - Oversee resident relations, ensuring every household feels valued and supported. - Manage rent collection, operating expenses, and property performance. - Supervise and inspire a team of three onsite staff members. - Ensure timely and accurate processing of resident re-certifications. - Partner with vendors and contractors to maintain high property standards. - Maintain compliance with affordable housing regulations and Fair Housing laws. - Keep accurate payroll, reporting, and financial records for the property. What We’re Looking For - 3+ years of property management experience (affordable housing experience strongly preferred). - Familiarity with Section 42 Tax Credit compliance and income averaging requirements. - Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant and Fair Housing laws. - Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills. - Tech-savvy with MS Office and property management software. - Customer-focused mindset with a passion for building community. Requirements Qualifications and Skills: Experience in administrative support for the construction of medical centers (hospitals, etc.) preferred. Experience working with Veterans Affairs (the VA) preferred. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning and/or evidence of work experience or knowledge to compensate for absence of higher education.
